Halloween, also known as Hallowe'en, Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve is a spooky festival usually celebrated by people dressing up in scary costumes and frightening masks.

When did Halloween begin?

Ireland is believed to be the birthplace of Halloween and has been around for over 6,000 years! Dressing up as ghouls, demons and spirits came from the ancient Celtic tradition of people disgusing themselves as to escape the notice of the real spirits wandering around the streets!

How can I celebrate Halloween?

There are lots of ways to bring in this creepy day, from creating your own costume, carving a pumpkin, go trick or treating, and the best bit - eating lots of sweets!
